I am currently working as a culinary instructor for Go!Chefs, part of the Children's Aid Society. Go!Chefs is a hands-on cooking and nutrition education curriculum for young people ages 6 through 21. Our kids cooking classes introduce youth to the pleasures of preparing and enjoying "real food" that is both nutritious and delicious - an essential step toward health and well-being. Students learn basic cooking skills, the joy of eating and cooking with fresh fruits and vegetables, and how to become empowered and conscious consumers in a marketplace that spends millions to persuade children to eat high-calorie, low-nutrient products. In addition I offer these classes to members of the general public in group or private settings.
